He now writes at Hogepotte, and he and his lovely wife Mara take turns posting about the ups and downs – but mostly the joys – of blending two families into one.  Six kids and two parents, but don’t assume that all step-parents are Disneyesque wicked step-parents: far from it, in fact.  Jim and Mara’s posts show us that the word “step” is really just another word for  “love.”
