The Google Alert from the NY Times said, simply, “McCain Chooses Palin as VP.” I am not a political blogger in anyone’s opinion, including my own, but I was thrilled to see that Palin had been chosen. THRILLED, I’m telling you. I’d vote for Palin for anything! I’ve been a huge Palin fan for years!

Because who could possibly be a better VP than a disgruntled pet shop clerk who really wanted to be a lumberjack? This is fantastic!!! The nation is saved. All will be well. We can all sleep at night, now.
