I love you, Linda.

My husband’s uncle lost his preciously awesome first wife several years ago. His second wife is a fabulous lady, beloved by everyone who is fortunate enough to meet her. Linda is funny, witty, smart, kind, loving, loved, multi-talented, optimistic, and dying of cancer.

At the Easter weekend family reunion, she was talking about the music she wanted at her funeral. She was making jokes about interviewing women to be Barth’s third wife. She was laughing at her bald head, and bragging about how much weight she’d lost.

She’s fabulous.

I’ve talked online to people who were in much her same position, before; but I’d never known anyone in person, to be so positive and upbeat under such conditions.

She really does exist, unbelievable as it may be, and she’s absolutely incredible. I love her dearly. Everyone does. You will, too, when you read about her here. Please, do so now.

She humbles me.
