I have conferences right now. I wish I could post this where all the parents will read it. I guess I will have to settle for a copy in the teachers’ room.

I hate that middle class families have to make choices, but low income families can “have it all”.

I remember living up the road from a family who had an “Uncle Daddy” and an “Aunt Mommy”…that was the most messed up situation I could ever imagine, having your siblings also be your cousins…

Nice rant–as a public school teacher, I wish everyone could read this! Sometimes we are the only ones there for these youngsters, but there are so many of them these days. How many can we help/parent/save?
