  1. My first born is 5 months old right now. Every once in a while I say to him, “I can’t wait until you can walk on your own.” or “I look forward to the day you can tell me what is wrong.” or “When will stop waking up for 4 am feedings?” And then I give him a hug and say, “But I am so happy with you just as you are today, so don’t grow up too fast.”
