There Really Were Pickles. I Saw Them.

Mamacita says:  We went to Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve today, and it was spooky, stark, and awesome!  More later, with pictures.

pickleHad lunch at Pickle’s Place in Arco.  It was delish.  My sister-in-law got the signature Atomic Burger, but I don’t care for mushrooms on my cheeseburger so I wussed out and got a regular boring ol’ burger.  I do love me the atmosphere of a little local burger palace.

I also love splurging on burgers and fries after all this dieting.  But I’m out of town, so nothing counts, right?

When we got back to my brother’s house, I made a big pan of peanut butter fudge for everybody.  Well, everybody but me.

The end.

I never claimed to be fascinating.

  1. That picture of Pickles Place brought back fond memories. We always used to eat there on our way back from visiting my sister in Rexburg. And Arco is not far from where I grew up (Carey) so we had regular end of the school year field trips to Craters of the Moon. At the time I always wished we’d go to a water park or something but now I realize how lucky I was. That place is pretty cool. 🙂
